English name for TAC has been changed from TAC(Technology Accreditation Commission) to ETAC(Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission). The change was to accommodate the 3 or 4-year engineering programs operated by the colleges in the commission. ETAC will evaluate programs with engineering, engineering technology and technology curriculums, which will assure the equivalence of those programs with other programs abroad.
