The 2025 Trilateral Engineering Accreditation Summit was held from December 3 to 5, 2025, in Busan, Republic of Korea.
The meeting brought together representatives from the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK), the Philippine Technological Council (PTC), and the Council of Engineers Thailand (COET/TABEE) to strengthen cooperation in engineering education and accreditation across the three economies.

During the three-day Summit in Busan, the organizations reaffirmed their commitment to advancing international collaboration in engineering accreditation and supporting greater student mobility within the region. Major outcomes included the following:
1) Annual Trilateral Summit & Capacity Building Workshop
- Agreed to hold an official annual Summit beginning in 2026
- Key collaboration areas:
· Joint capstone projects with local industries
· Employment linkage programs
· Sharing best practices in engineering education
· Developing an international capstone competition
2) Joint Participation in the 2026 Philippine College Fair
- Providing direct counseling for Filipino students and parents
- Supporting enhanced international student recruitment for Korean accredited universities
3) Enhanced Access to Korean Accredited Programs
- Agreement to distribute information through official channels in Thailand & the Philippines
- Institutional matching and program development cooperation
- Increased opportunities for dual-degree programs and graduate studies in Korea
